Creative floral photography

Playing with flowers and shadows in my studio

The other day I was finishing up a day of client work and decided to take the evening for myself. I went out and picked the best looking bouquets from my local supermarket and spent a few hours playing around with the shapes and shadows that I could make with them.

One of my favourite things is that I get to decide the rules in my images. I didn’t want these to look anything like normal floral still-life photography – I wanted them to be eye-catching, different, even unusual, but always staying true to my style – 'playful with a clean aesthetic'.

I hope you enjoy looking at the set!

This creative floral photography project was shot in my London studio.
